Tzekel-Kan is the main antagonist of the 2000 movie The Road to El Dorado. He tried to take over the City of El Dorado with Miguel and Tulio , but his plan backfired.

In Majestic Guardians, Tzekel-Kan is a member of The Anubis Empire, but he was manipulated by Loki.

In "Corpse, Shaman and Samurai", He was supposed to serve Anubis by finding the mythical keys, but instead he found a tomb-like can and free Beetlejuice, but defeated by the Majestic Guardian, Tzekel-Kan was killed by Deker when he was discovered as a traitor

In Majestic Guardians movie: BioBroly, it revealed he came back to life and serve Baron von Strucker and the Hydra, but he was killed by the Culture slime fluid. He made his final appearance in Majestic Guardians Movie: Lucemon Returns, he, Alister and Tajor came back to life thanks to Lucemon. He, Alister and Tajor was absorbed by Lucemon after failing their task.
